ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join Antler Australia’s Investments team in executing our overall due diligence process, program delivery and experience, and building processes and systems geared towards operational efficiency. Now deploying our second fund, Antler has ambitions to invest into hundreds of companies in the region over the next few years.

Alongside creating better systems, processes, and tools, the role also includes supporting the development of Antler’s brand presence in Melbourne through participation in various aspects of the startup ecosystem. Responsibilities include:

Work with Antler founders to ensure both an enjoyable and productive experience through the Antler program - from on-boarding through to idea validation, company formation, pitching to investors and beyond.
Provide leverage to Antler Investment Director in a ‘generalist’ role.
Own key investment and program coordination processes to provide leverage to the program leadership team
- Downloading, trimming, uploading and cataloguing recordings
- Support cohort feedback cycle including developing surveys, analysis, and recommendations for experience improvement initiatives
- Data capture and analysis during investment due diligence process and beyond
Support on logistics / operational matters including event / speaker series setup and offsites.
Analysis on strategic growth projects.
Ensure a high quality program experience for Melbourne-based founders including organising social events, managing logistics of their office experience, and providing support for tools

KEY DETAILS

Start date: Preferred start in March 2024
Time requirement: This is a part time role and is designed to suit a university student. We request a minimum of 2.5 day commitment to the role. Days worked can be flexible and we are happy to accommodate reduced loads around university exams
Compensated role paying award wage
Melbourne based role primarily focused on local operations and supporting Sydney and virtual operations

To date, you will have a strong track record of investment or you have been a founder who has built a business and raised institutional capital.

This is a hybrid role primarily based in Antler’s South melbourne office where you will spend 3 days per week in-office supporting founders through the investment process. Experienced hires will typically have either a strong track-record in the start-up ecosystem, in management consulting environments, or in the broader equities space. Additional traits we look for include:
