We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and supporting the Head of Sales in driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and progress over time into a Business Development Manager (BDM) role while demonstrating an ability to independently hunt for new accounts.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through warm leads, cold prospecting, effective networking (events) and social selling;
- Conduct outreach to potential clients and book Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) for Head of Sales;
- Proactively hunt for new business opportunities, targeting accounts with a turnover of up to € 100 million;
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for converting leads into clients;
- Create customer facing decks and proposals to support the customer journey in the sales process;
- Embrace coaching, feedback, and opportunities for professional growth to step into a BDM role in the future;
- You will be trained and involved in new business meetings to learn the sales processes and process mapping sessions to get a in depth understanding of supply chain and Zencargo solutions;
- Track and report on sales activities and performance metrics to ensure KPI targets are met;
- Basic knowledge of sales methodologies (or highly motivated to learn them), particularly MEDDICC, to accurately forecast sales and drive revenue growth;
- Minimum of 1-3 years relevant sales experience, preferably as a Sales Development Representative, Sales Executive, inside sales or in a similar role;
- Strong willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships;
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve targets and drive results.
